Growing up in a bilingual household with a French-speaking mother and Dutch-speaking father, Arno originally dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. He attended a sports-focused school, but a serious knee injury at age 16 forced him to rethink his future.

From Behind the Camera to Fan Favorite

After his injury, Arno joined Rob’s creative projects—first as a cameraman, then stepping into the spotlight as co-star of the Average Rob YouTube channel, which launched in 2020. His fearless energy and on-screen chemistry with Rob quickly made him a viewer favorite. The nickname “The Kid”, earned early on, stuck and became part of his identity.
