Equipment
Kara and Nate's travel videos take them from long road trips and unfamiliar destinations to wildlife encounters where capturing the moment matters. During their Alaska bear expedition, Nate was seen filming with a Sony α7S III mirrorless camera and Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS telephoto lens. Their earlier filming gear also includes the wide-angle Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM lens.
For more portable filming, their setup includes the GoPro HERO13 Black action camera and Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, while the DJI Mini 5 Pro drone provides aerial footage of their travels. Kara and Nate have also discussed using an Insta360 camera for 360-degree footage, although the exact model remains unidentified.

About
Kara and Nate are an American travel-creator couple who left Nashville in 2016 to spend a year exploring the world. What began as a one-year trip became a full-time YouTube journey, and by the end of 2019, they had reached their goal of visiting 100 countries.
Their videos have since expanded beyond traditional destination vlogs to include wildlife encounters, endurance challenges, remote expeditions, and unusual ways of traveling. Recent adventures include camping among wild bears in Alaska, running in Patagonia, and crossing multiple countries in a school bus for the 2026 Mongol Rally.
