Equipment

The Whatever podcast uses a fully equipped studio setup designed for large-panel discussions and live-streamed debates. Each guest speaks into a dedicated Shure SM7B microphone, mounted on individual stands for consistent audio quality across the table. Monitoring and audio routing are managed through mixers like the Mackie ProFX22v3 and supported by tools like the Cloud CL-2 preamp for added clarity.

For visuals, the primary camera is the Panasonic LUMIX GH5M2, with supporting angles from the Sony RX100 VII and Sony FDR-AX43. All video feeds are captured via the Elgato Cam Link Pro and controlled in real-time with the Elgato Stream Deck XL.

Wireless mics such as the Rร˜DE Wireless GO II and Sennheiser Pro Audio EW 112P G4 are also used for mobile recordings, behind-the-scenes content, and off-table segments.
