Biography:

Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, born on May 5, 2001, is a prominent figure in the esports world, particularly known for his skills in the game "Valorant." He is a Canadian professional Valorant player currently signed to Sentinels, a well-known esports organization. Before his success in Valorant, he began his esports career in October 2019 as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player for Cloud9, later transitioning to Valorant in April 2020 while still with Cloud9.

TenZ was born and raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. He is of Vietnamese and French descent. His engagement in the gaming community has made him a respected name, especially after he and Sentinels won the first-ever global Valorant championship, the VCT Masters 2 Reykjavík. His performance in the tournament was so outstanding that he was crowned the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the series.

In his personal life, TenZ has moved from Canada to Los Angeles as of January 2022. He is currently engaged to Kyedae Shymko, a content creator associated with 100 Thieves. The couple announced their engagement in August 2022. On a more personal note, TenZ has shared in an interview that he has ADHD, which he didn't fully address until taking a break from competitive Valorant. Additionally, he revealed that he is protanomaly colorblind, which affects his gameplay as he uses yellow instead of red as his enemy highlight color in Valorant.

TenZ's journey from a Counter-Strike player to a celebrated Valorant player, along with his personal engagements and challenges, marks him as an influential personality in the esports community. His transition to content creation and his engagement with the Sentinels have further solidified his position as a significant figure in the world of competitive gaming.
